According to an email obtained by Saucon Voice, and confirmed by sources familiar, Lower Saucon Township Manager Mark Hudson has notified the Township of his intent to resign, with his last day of service being March 28, 2024.
The email provides no details around why Hudson has decided to resign the position but thanks the Township and Council for the experience and support that he received while serving as Lower Saucon’s Manager.
Mark Hudson was appointed and confirmed as Township Manager in August of 2022 and will be leaving after only approximately one-and-a-half years in the position. This resignation follows the abrupt resignation of the first Township solicitor, Mark Freed, who resigned after just 16 days on the job under the new Council leadership.
The next Lower Saucon Township Council meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, March 6, 2024, beginning at 6:30 PM at Lower Saucon Town Hall. At the time of publishing this article, an agenda for Wednesday’s meeting was not yet published.
