Lower Saucon's 'Movies in the Parks' events has been held for several summers now and includes 3 showings of voted on movies to show to the community. Last month, Disney's 'Cars' was show at Steel City Park and back in June Town Hall Park hosted Disney's 'Encanto'.

Each event has been well attended and Township staff have done a tremendous job organizing the events and making sure that all the kids attending get some great giveaway items and other treats. Whether it be ice cream treats or bags of popcorn movie attendees (and their parents) have all had a great time!

Lower Saucon's 'Movies in the Parks' is organized by the Lower Saucon Township Parks & Recreation committee. If you have suggestions for future events or would like to volunteer to help, please visit their webpage to express interest.

In related Lower Saucon news, the Township's summer recreation program just concluded. This year's program was open to Township residents aged 6 to 12 and delivered by the Saucon Valley Community Center. Kids got to experience a host of activities during the morning in Town Hall, Southeastern, and Steel City parks.
